If you walk around central Amsterdam, close to the central station, you might bump into a shop window full of Moomin and Pippi merch – that is actually inside a hotel, Hotel des Arts.
Being confused about this, I stepped in and apparently the owner is a Finn!
A bit of anything is sold, from candy to the classic Moomin mugs to notebooks and socks ! In Addition, there are also some Marimekko things and Finnish snacks as liquorice and Fazer chocolate.
So if you are in Holland and need merch of the Nordic iconic characters, you know where to go to!

I visited Scanshop, a supermarket for Nordic expats in Luxembourg and Belgium. It offers a wide range of Scandinavian food products, including rye bread, fish, and sweets, alongside flags and tableware.
